Mr. Boy got a new chair which vibrates and plays music which he loves. The nurses tried a blue, more upright one which turned out to be unsatisfactory, so they tried a pink one and he loved it. Please don't tell him its girly. :)
I have been following your brother's (Nathan) adoption blog and also heard about your baby through friends on facebook and through the firehouse... I check on Asher everyday (through this blog) and you are constantly in my prayers. I know what it feels like to have a child with health problems and have felt powerless to help them. My daughter and son died of the same heart problem and I never got to bring them home. I am so proud of your strength and courage throughout all of Asher's difficulties and have come to the conclusion that if I am even half as good at being a parent as you guys I will have done amazing. Way to stay strong in your faith even when it seems like he has turned his back on you. I have had days in prayer where I go, "Come on God, really? I am not strong enough for this." I just want you two to know how deeply impressed I am and how you are ALWAYS in our prayers.

ReplyDeleteSo I finally went to the work of making a google account so I could comment on Asher's blog.... ALL the boys love the pink chair. And as my brother says, only real men wear pink ;-)
